How do I mark a ticket type as sold out?

If you set a ticket category with a certain number of available tickets, the system will automatically update it to "Sold Out" when all the tickets are sold, ensuring customers are aware of their unavailability. Alternatively, you have the option to manually mark a category as "Sold Out."


Below are the steps you need to follow to mark a ticket type as sold out:


  1. Go to the profile dropdown at the top right of the website and click on the "Manage Events" option.
  1. Select the relevant event to go to the Event Dashboard, and on the menu on your left, select Registrations option.



  1. Now click on the Issue Tickets dropdown menu on the right and select Manage Ticket Types.


  1. You will see a list of all created ticket types for that particular event. To edit the ticket type, navigate to the Action dropdown and click on Edit Ticket. Finally, make the necessary changes and click on Save.

  1. Set the number of tickets on sale equal to the number already sold and click on Save.

In the example above, the number of tickets sold is 20. As a result, the number of tickets on sale has been updated to 20, and this will mark the ticket type as "sold out."

Tip: If you want to restart ticket sales for a particular category, simply increase the number of tickets on sale following the steps mentioned above. This will make the category available for purchase again.
