Getting started with Facebook Pixel

Often as an organizer or collaborator, you might want to track your audience's activity and record ticket purchases.

At AllEvents, you can add your Facebook Pixel code to your events.

Getting started with Facebook Pixel enables you to keep track of ticket sales for all your upcoming and past events. So you can collect data that helps you track conversions from Facebook ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to people who have already shown some kind of interest towards your event.

Create your Facebook Pixel Code

  1. Log in to your Facebook account and go to – Facebook Event Manager. If you haven’t created a pixel already, follow Facebook’s steps to create a pixel

If you have already created pixels before, then you can jump straight to step 2.

  1. To find your Pixel ID, go to your Facebook Business Manager and check your Pixel settings. Copy down the Pixel ID, which usually has 15-16 numbers.

    Example: 420562625885304

Note: You won't need the full pixel code, just the Pixel ID.

How to open the ticketing integration page?

  1. Go to the profile dropdown on the top right of the website and open the My Events page.

  1. Make sure you choose the right Organizer Page, find the relevant event, and click on Dashboard.

  1. Click on Integrations on the left menu table under the Marketing dropdown

If you are not the organizer of the relevant event, then you won't find the event listed on this page. However, you can still open the ticket integration page by clicking here.

How to add Facebook Pixel to the event?

If you have a Facebook page for the event or a Facebook page for your business, you can activate this integration.

Once you activate this integration, you can optimize your ad campaigns by tracking engagement on your event page.

  1. To allow AllEvents to integrate Facebook Pixel into your event, add your Facebook Pixel ID into the box and click on Add Pixel.

It may take up to 24 hours for Facebook Pixel traffic to appear on your Facebook advertiser account. You can then use the pixel to track purchases for your event through the campaigns on your Facebook account.

Which data is sent to Facebook Pixel?

Inserting your Facebook Pixel into your events will ensure that  “Facebook Pixel standard events” are being sent to Facebook.

Here is a list of Facebook Standard Events that we trigger when a specific action is taken on your AllEvents Event Page.
