How to create coupon codes?

Go to the profile dropdown on the top right of the website → My Events → Event Dashboard → Coupon Codes (left-side panel) → Create Discount Code

The ticket type has to be accepting payment online for it to be able to apply the discount code.

There are two types of discounts:

  • Flat discount: A fixed amount that users can deduct from the ticket price. (e.g., $5)
  • Percent Discount: A set percentage of what users can deduct from the ticket price. (e.g., 50% off)

There are three types of coupon codes :

  • The usual - create a coupon code that attendees can enter while making a purchase.
  • Link attendee’s email address - enter an attendee’s email address as a coupon code and the code will be applied automatically when a purchase is made with the same address.
  • Link attendee’s phone number - enter an attendee’s phone number as a coupon code and the code will be applied automatically when a purchase is made with the same number.

The last two ways are especially useful when you need to give specific discounts to special guests, employees, members, and so on.
