What is a GA4 Measurement ID?
Think of Google Analytics as a smart camera for your event page. It records every visitor — where they came from, what they clicked, and whether they bought a ticket.
The Measurement ID is your unique code — like G-AB12CD34EF — that links your Google Analytics account to your AllEvents.in event page.
Once connected, all your visitor and buyer data flows straight into your dashboard. No coding. No technical setup. Just paste your ID and you are live.
Once connected, you can:
- See Where Visitors Come From: Track whether people found you via Google, Instagram, WhatsApp, or email.
- Measure Real Ticket Sales: Know exactly how many visitors became buyers.
- Spot Drop-Off Points: See where people leave your booking flow so you can recover lost sales.
- Run Smarter Retargeting: Show follow-up ads to people who visited but did not buy.
- Optimize Ad Spend: Stop guessing — use real data to invest in what works.
Why Should You Use GA4?
Without GA4, you are flying blind. You spend money on ads but have no idea which ones actually sold tickets.
Organizers using GA4 make smarter decisions — they know which campaigns work, which do not, and exactly where to put their budget next time.
- Conversion Tracking: Know which ad or channel led to a ticket purchase.
- Traffic Source Analysis: See whether visitors came from Google, Instagram, WhatsApp, or email.
- Full Funnel Visibility: Track the complete journey — from landing on your page to completing payment.
- Better ROI: Put your budget into campaigns proven to deliver results.
- Smarter Events Over Time: Every event gives you more data to grow your audience.

📊Pro Tip — Combine GA4 + Meta Pixel + AE Link
Get the best results by using all three tools together:
-
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — Track your Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. See which ads sold tickets, retarget visitors who did not buy, and build lookalike audiences. Refer to the Meta Pixel support article in your AllEvents.in Help Center to set it up.
-
AE Link — Track exactly which channel (WhatsApp, Instagram bio, email) brought each visitor.
-
GA4 — Track what visitors did after arriving — from viewing your event to completing payment.
Together these three tools give you a complete end-to-end picture of your marketing performance.
