External ticket links
The External Ticket Link feature lets organizers import ticket types directly into AllEvents.in by pasting an Eventbrite event URL during event creation. This removes the need to set up each ticket manually.
What it does
- Reads ticket information from an Eventbrite event URL and creates matching ticket types in AllEvents.in
- Keeps the original ticket name and price from Eventbrite
- Sets a default capacity of 50 per ticket type for every imported ticket - note that the original capacity from Eventbrite is not carried over, so you will need to update this manually after import
How to use it
- Go to Create Event on AllEvents.in
- Fill in the basic event details - title, date, venue, and other required fields
- In the Tickets step, select "Import from Eventbrite (External Ticket Link)"
- Paste the Eventbrite event URL into the field
- Review the preview showing all ticket types, names, and prices found on that event
- Select which tickets you want to import, or import all of them
- Click "Import tickets"
All selected tickets are created automatically with the name and price from Eventbrite. Capacity is set to 50 per ticket type by default - update this before publishing if your event has a different limit.
After import, you can publish the event as usual.
Example
Say you have an Eventbrite event called "Mumbai Tech Meetup 2025" with three ticket types:
- General Admission - Free
- Early Bird - Rs. 299
- VIP - Rs. 999
After pasting the Eventbrite URL and clicking Import, AllEvents.in will create all three tickets with the same names and prices. Each ticket type will have a capacity of 50 by default. If your General Admission expects 300 attendees, go to Manage Tickets and update the capacity to 300 before publishing.
What to know about imported tickets
- Free and paid Eventbrite tickets can both be imported
- This is a one-time import - changes made to the Eventbrite event after import will not update automatically on AllEvents.in. Manage your tickets directly on AllEvents.in after import
- You can edit any ticket detail - name, description, capacity, price - after import, the same way as any other ticket on the event
- The connection to Eventbrite is not stored after import. Deleting or updating the original Eventbrite event will not affect your AllEvents.in tickets
Where to find imported tickets
Imported tickets appear in the same list as manually created tickets under Event Dashboard - Manage Tickets. Each imported ticket is labeled "Imported from Eventbrite" for easy identification.
Error messages
If something goes wrong, you will see one of these messages:
- "Please enter a valid Eventbrite event link." - Check that you have copied the full URL correctly
- "We could not fetch tickets from this link. Please check the URL or try again later." - The Eventbrite event may be unpublished, private, or password-protected. Make sure the event is publicly visible on Eventbrite before importing
- "No tickets found on this Eventbrite event." - The Eventbrite event may not have any active ticket types listed
