How to update preferred category for events

AllEvents can recommend events happening in your current city based on your category preferences. You can modify your category preference anytime you wish. This article explains how you can modify your category preferences.

Using Desktop website

Log in to your AllEvents account and go to Setting under your profile drop-down.

In Settings page, scroll down to the end of the page to EDIT FOLLOWING CATEGORIES and click on Edit Categories.

In the pop-up box, tick/untick the categories of your interests. Your changes will be saved automatically. Once you are done, you can go back to the Settings page by clicking on the close button at the top-right corner of the pop-up box.

You can see all the recommended events for you by clicking on the button as shown below.


Using Mobile App

Launch the AllEvents Event discovery app. And tap on your profile icon at the top-right corner on the home screen of the application.

To modify your preferences, scroll down and tap on Category Preference.

In this screen you can tick/untick a category as per your interests by tapping on the category buttons. Once you are done, to save changes, tap on Done.

You can see the recommended events for you by taping on EVENTS FOR ME.
